Welcome to the Pioneer R/C Club Web Site

The Pioneer R/C Club, Inc. has a membership of about 40 people, and although we do not have a permanent flying field of our own, we continue to function as a club and regularly fly various aircraft.
At the current time members gather informally on weekend mornings to fly electric aircraft at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale off Hwy 237 and Caribbean Drive. Members also fly at Rancho San Antonio Park in Cupertino off Foothill Blvd during the week and on the weekends. Club members who fly gas powered aircraft fly with other bay area clubs including Peninsula Aero Modelers, Southern Alameda County Radio Controllers, Bayside R/C and Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skyport. Our Club has regular meetings on the fourth Thursday of the month in January, May, September & November of each year. Meetings begin at 7:00PM and are held in the Fellowship Hall at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at 1715 Grant Rd in Los Altos. During the month of March the Club has it's annual “Kid's Night”, then in July the Club has it’s annual “Family Picnic” and in December the Club has it’s annual “Christmas Dinner”.
We have much building and flying experience to share, so come fly with the PIONEERS.
